The first line was given by the teacher. This is the recipe Yeshee wrote:
A hippo sandwich is easy to make
All you need is two giant cakes
Take a knife and give them shape
To look like hippos trying to escape
Slather the first one with lots of frosting
Don't skimp on that yummy chocolate icing
Slam the second hippo on top
Decorate with sprinkles and m&ms from the candy shop
The giant hippo cake-sandwich is now ready to eat
Did I not tell you it will only take a minute
After he wrote his recipe, we opened the envelope. Inside was another recipe for a hippo sandwich given by the teacher. This is how it goes:
A hippo sandwich is easy to make
All you do is simply take
One slice of bread,
One slice of cake,
Some mayonnaise,
One onion ring,
One hippopotamus,
One piece of string,
A dash of pepper,
That ought to do it,
And now here comes the problem,
Biting into it.
